Is  Elizabeth Laney the same as Elizabeth Miller? that married Jeremiah Laney?

1832 5 Sep 1832 - Elizabeth Laney testified for Sparling Bowman in his Revolutionary War Pension.  She testified she knew him at Hagerstown, Maryland in 1775.  The fact that Elizabeth had a son named Ephraim Laney may indicate either Elizabeth Laney was a sister of Susannah Hixson or Jeremiah Laney was Susannah's brother.
