Ms. ___________ Previous assumptions that she was Mary Moberly appear to be erroneous. Moberly researchers have the daughter of Edward & Susannah named Mary being the wife of a Thomas Halsell. Given the large difference in ages between Mary's likely birth (estimated 1750-1755 if she was the wife of Thomas Halsell junior) and the estimated birth years of her supposed siblings (1720-1730s) by other researchers it seem more likely that Mary was in fact married to Thomas Halsell senior not Thomas Halsell junior. |
