• AncestryDNA suggests this writer (Lance L Hall) shares a common ancestor with other descendants of Abraham Richey and Elizabeth Collings.  John Richey (1807-1879) mentioned above was the son of Abraham Richey and Elizabeth Collings.  This is the only evidence that OUR John A Richey is the same "John Richey" that appears on the on the 1850 census (Indiana, Scott county) with John & Elizabeth Sharp Richey.
