Father &  Mother	John Cleghorn was born about 1774 place unverified.  John was probably a son of William Cleghorn and Lettice _____.  John died after 1840 probably in Georgia. Abigail Scott was born about 1781-1784 place unverified.  Abigail was the daughter of John Scott Sr and Lettice/Letittia ______. John and Abigail were married on 15 January 1800 in Rutherford county, North Carolina. Dau.	● Jane Cleghorn was born about 1801.  She married Drury Bowen on 23 December 1823 in Madison county, Georgia.  Jane died after 1870 probably in Floyd county, Georgia. William C Bowen was born about 1825 in Georgia. Susan Frances Bowen was born 29 Nov 1827 in Georgia.  She married Reuben T Cornett.  Susan died 1 Feb 1915 in San Saba county, Texas. daughter Bowen Sterling L Bowen was born about 1834. James M Bowen was born about 1836. George H Bowen was born about 1841. Francis E Bowen was born about 1842. Dau.	● Malinda Cleghorn was born 4 November 1805 in North Carolina.  She married Joseph Moore on 19 February 1828 in Madison county, Georgia.  Malinda is mentioned in her grandfather John Scott's will.
