This Indenture made and

who was a daughter and heir at law of said William Bailey dec'd of the one part
and Arther Bradshaw of the other part Witnesseth
That
whereas part of the above mentioned heirs at law of said William Bailey decd
instituted admit by petition in the Adair Circuit Court against the balance of
the said heirs for a sale of 88 acres of land belonging to said heirs and
conveyed to him by deed of record in Deed Book 2 page 409 by Charles Homas &
whereas said suit reqularly progressed to a buring & decree and at the November
Term 1852 of said Court adewell was rendered for a sale of said land and Thomas
R Johoney was appointed a Commissioner to make said sall & whereas said Dohoney
did on the 26th day of January 1853 expose the same to the highest bidder and
Arther Bradshaw became the purchased at his The purchaser at his the 26t highest
bid of one hundred and eighty two dollars & whereas the purchase money has been
paid in full and whereas said Timallon Cravens was been appointed Commissioner
to convey the land so sold for and on behalf of the heirs afsd to the purchased
Now therefore in consideration of the premises the said Cravens Commissioner for
and in behalf of the heirs afsd doth hereby alien enfeoff and convey unto the
said Arther Bradshaw his heirs and assigns forever a certain parcel or tract of
land situate lying and being in said County on the waters of Reynolds a of
Russells Creek and containing eighty eight acres more or less and being part of
a tract conveyed by Charles Thomas to said William Bailey by deed for refered to
or the whole thereof except twelve acres sold , & conveyed by said William
Bailey and Daniel Ridian to afferenel in the for description and to the deed
Coundaries To have and to holdd the same to him said Bradshaw & his heirs
forever to his & their only proper use benefit & behoof And the said Cravene the
said Bradshaw Commissioner as aforesaid covenants we for and on behalf of said
heirs that they will shall warrant the land hereby conveyed against all claims

At a circuit circuit court continued and
held for the County of Adair at the Courthonal in Columbid on the 8th day of
November 1853 the foregoing deed of conveyance from Timollon Cravens Cravens
Commissioner in Chancery to Arther Bradshaw Bradshaw was this day produced
circuit in Court and acknowledged by said Commissioner to be his act & deed
Examined and approved by 8t the Court and so endorsed and ordered to be
certified which is done accordingly of Attest
